What a pain in the ass and thankfully I was not hauling any grain home. As I headed south through Hillyard I heard something behind the music playing and when I turned it down there was the loud TING TING TING of metal banging off the asphalt. I got a block away from my next turn and pulled into the street getting out expecting to see the jack having swung down, but no it was the leaf spring. With the broken trailer any grain would have gone in the truck. I got gas then got home and parked the trailer. I got the topper put on the truck. I was going back and forth on putting it on or not and finally figured it best to. The boys were throwing darts a lot as it was on tv and the board is lowered for them. There were a few good little cells that came through and gave us maybe a tenth of an inch. It's been so hard to look at the thing sitting next to the house, watch @stryeyz go in, the boys go in, but I couldn't due to my shitty skin. I am going to Bozeman for 9 days for paragliding schooling but the weather will be playing a major factor in things so my time will be spent with a variety of other things outside of school time. This is the first trip away alone for over a week that I will have been on in a decade. The last time was 2012 for my AF reunion in Colorado which also was a big rock climbing trip.
