PRE SCRIPTUM

Hi! Welcome to HIVE HORIZONS! I never thought I could finally start something like this – phew! Anyhow, let me walk you through as you read along. To tell you honestly, I am no *'travel-grapher*' type of a wanderer. I have been to lots of places and communities in the Philippines however, no matter how much fascinating the location, I don’t often get a decent shot of the scenery nor have a lot of portraits with me on it. I do disagree though that it has to do with the camera I am using – although that can be a factor. What I do strongly believe is what no camera can take – an unforgettable memory. ---------

A picture-perfect experience can sometimes be left for enjoyment; one bare way to be in the moment without having to be conscious of the time and an 'instagramable' shot.

--------------- This makes me wondering; how far our senses drive us to fascination or amazingly how our minds go wander each and every time we recall a special memory. And from that realization, I took on the approach of my first blogging experience further. I am most looking forward to bring out the same senses that carried me away with those memorable experiences. And more importantly, I want to impart a narrative of my cognizance from the simple matters of my personal space to the communal substances of the political, academic, and philosophical world. Thus, I created these concrete themes for my #HIVEHorizons journey - a way to describe my thoughtful expression.

HERE ARE MY THREE (3) CENTRAL THEMES

horizon alpha: a fair of thoughts

------------

Like most introverts feel, making myself be known to the crowd is one heavy step to take. Not because I am afraid to exist amongst the loud, but more like the fear to be accepted and welcomed. Having known myself for years since early childhood, I seldom open up to my friends and to my family. I always get this feeling that nobody cares. And as much as I don’t bother someone else’s discernment, I also don’t want mine to be cared. But experience has taught me that I cannot possibly not care about others when all those times, I only want to be acknowledged and regarded for my efforts. This prompted me to understand more on how myself and others see things. And as much as respect is valued, each of us has our own say and perspective – and it’s called constructivism per se. This #HIVEHorizons account will definitely be a boggling read on how I process my thoughts – more like my take on any agenda; written simply to invoke my right to free speech. As an early notice, my choice of words won’t mean any harm.

horizon epsilon: an exposition of words

For a young a lad on its 20s, I do have a lot of significant insights from diverse experiences that I want to impart. Those were the times that I felt it did me something; that I can advocate to those ears wide open. ------------ I have been on the shoes of a man when opportunities knocked and spotlights faded – and if only regrets were to issue a warning beforehand, I would’ve opened several great chances or kept the spotlight and made it even bigger for others to be illuminated. ------------- I haven’t given much advice to this kind of reach and magnitude as big as #HIVE, other than keeping it to my mates in the organization or fellows in life. I am even more than thrilled and anxious now that I have created such influence out on the web. My #HIVEHorizons account, I believe, would be an expository and also an informative one. I may be no good in taking good travel photos, but this sure could be one good travel blog enough for you to try yourself. For now, let’s just not keep our hopes too much.

horizon sigma: a genuine piece

I have always admired arts. Despite my attraction even to short poems, graphic posters, or charcoal pen sketches, I don’t have that much training to be acquainted with all the techniques and applications that goes with it. However, I do know that nothing can be more expressive than delivering it through literary pieces, right? Well, I don’t often receive recognition for my being artsy and dramatic on my write ups, for the reason that I don’t really publish them. ------------ More than being able to show people our creative self, an art reflects the abstract construct of our mind – and most of the time, we express our emotions and make ourselves be understood through the genuine pieces that we make. ------------- If made genuinely by heart, it is no less than a masterpiece, I should say. Lastly, my #HIVEHorizons account would go beyond the semantics and syntax of the conventional and communal language structure. Although not necessarily of my own piece, consented artists who love to display their piece would definitely be a good featured content.

POST SCRIPTUM

I sort of branched on the normal ways of introducing myself here on #HIVE. It is indeed to be continued (つづく) as even before, I had hoped that my first take on this platform would not say directly about myself, and would instead say how I plan to go about on my future contents presented through the central themes of my #HIVEHorizons journey. ------------ Besides, getting to know someone is never a one-step process. Just as how you did to the special someone you like, an introduction could take a while. ------------- Frankly, it is no easy task to finally be here. That is why I took inspiration and direction from those ahead of me (@queenielee & @ybanezkim26) – which for that reason, I am very much thankful for their valued time in helping me out. Cheers to my #HIVEHorizons journey! Looking forward to thrive in #HIVE
