Aunque ya haya cerrado este reto me animé de igual manera a participar por dos razones, la primera porque es atractiva la idea de enfocarme en mi talento, a veces pasamos los días sin saber que tenemos tal o cual talento, o quizás lo podemos saber pero no lo valoramos, ni le sacamos un buen provecho. La segunda razón es que mi amiga @alejandria12 me invito a participar, y no podía dejar pasar la invitación. Así que sin más preámbulo… Creo que todos tenemos diferentes talentos, y no solo tenemos un talento único, podemos tener varios. Pero siempre uno predomina más que los otros porque a ese le dedicamos más tiempo y atención. Como dice un viejo refrán: “la practica hace el maestro”. Personalmente creo que tengo varios talentos, pero acá les compartiré el que he podido fortalecer gracias a Hive, también es al cual le dedico más tiempo.

But one always predominates more than the others because we dedicate more time and attention to that one. As an old saying goes, "practice makes perfect. Personally I think I have several talents, but here I will share with you the one I have been able to strengthen thanks to Hive, it is also the one to which I dedicate more time.

Escribir. Me encanta escribir, aunque quizás en mi vida haya sido tardío el descubrimiento de este talento, es al que le dedico más tiempo. Puedo pasar horas frente al ordenador, tecleando y tecleando, muchas veces preparando un post para Hive. Suelo levantarme a tempranas horas de la mañana y lo primero que hago es prender la PC, luego mientras se va encendiendo me lavo los dientes y lavo mi cara. En seguida busco un vaso con agua y a escribir se ha dicho. # ¿Cómo lo encontré? Ya les mencione que fue algo tardío, pues si, terminado mi bachillerato me fui a un seminario a formarme como sacerdote, (de esto ya he hablado mucho) y una de las actividades dentro del seminario era llevar una crónica, una especie de diario sobre lo que sucedía dentro de la casa de formación día tras día. Me toco llevar esa responsabilidad muchas veces, y me encantaba darle un toque literario al asunto, y no ceñirme a la mera narración descriptiva de lo ocurrido día tras día. Fue en esa época, donde descubrí que tenía un cierto talento al juntar letras.

Writing. I love to write, although perhaps in my life the discovery of this talent has been late, it is the one to which I dedicate more time. I can spend hours in front of the computer, typing and typing, many times preparing a post for Hive. I usually get up early in the morning and the first thing I do is turn on the PC, then while it is turning on I brush my teeth and wash my face. Then I look for a glass of water and start writing. # How did I find it? I already mentioned that it was a bit late, because yes, after finishing my high school I went to a seminary to be trained as a priest, (I've already talked a lot about this) and one of the activities inside the seminary was to keep a chronicle, a kind of diary about what was happening inside the formation house day after day. I had to carry out this responsibility many times, and I loved to give a literary touch to the matter, and not to stick to the mere descriptive narration of what happened day after day. It was at that time that I discovered that I had a certain talent for collecting letters.

# ¿Hive te ha ayudado a mejorarlo, desempolvarlo o descubrirlo? Ya anticipe un poco esta respuesta, pero si, ciertamente Hive me ha ayudado a mejorarlo y también desempolvarlo. Algunos meses (muchos) quizá, no se con exactitud, tenia abandonada la escritura, solo me circunscribía a lo laboral y lo universitario, dejando abandonado por completo el buen habito literario. Pero como lo comente en mi último post, la pandemia, la cuarentena frenó de manera abrupta el estilo de vida que traíamos, y para mi sorpresa llegaba Hive pocos días de que declararan cuarentena en mi país, haciendo que desempolvara este talento, y con el pasar de los meses, 8 meses para ser exactos, mi talento ha ido mejorando y por otro lado ha ido encontrando nuevos estilos. Este hábito no es nada estático aunque se ejerza desde una silla y mesa, requiere de una flexibilidad de espíritu y de ánimo sin igual. De tal modo, acá en Hive podrán mirar la maleabilidad de mis palabras con el transcurrir del tiempo. # Gracias por tu tiempo y atención al leerme. ## También gracias @tripode y @hispapro por la iniciativa.

But as I commented in my last post, the pandemic, the quarantine abruptly stopped the lifestyle we were bringing, and to my surprise Hive arrived a few days after they declared quarantine in my country, making me dust off this talent, and with the passing of the months, 8 months to be exact, my talent has been improving and on the other hand has been finding new styles. This habit is not static, even if it is exercised from a chair and table, it requires an unparalleled flexibility of mind and spirit.
