So while we were dead in crimes and sins, the Lord rescued us to bring us from darkness into his admirable light; so we cannot doubt that it is the result of our faith, to believe that it was he who did everything and not us (we do not save ourselves). Once saved we also have a broad and generous entrance to his throne; We also also obtain eternal life together with Christ in heavenly places. So great and beautiful gift could not have been obtained in any way by our works, for nothing we do can even compare to the great and wonderful sacrifice Jesus made and to the price of his precious blood. To pretend then to believe that salvation could be obtained in any other way is to ignore the undeniable fact of what Jesus did and to detract from his great sacrifice on the cross of ordeal. In conclusion the glory of all this is the lord's exclusivity and no one can misappropriate it, this is what actually applies to saying "Saved by Grace".
