I was thinking about how important figures such as the government or celebrities deal with each case of aggression. For example, You can see every day on the internet or even in the streets people using the wording "F*CK TRUDEAU" using memes of our prime minister stealing, or him using jail vestments. I am not defending this figure, I think that many of his decisions to lead our country failed and he made many bad decisions. But all this unnecessary exposition is a bit unfair. And that type of image usage can be said to any other important figure, like Trump, Elon Musk, actors, musicians, etc. Do they sue everyone? I don't think so, usually, they go against important repercussions. What about us? should we go through the judicial path through everything that goes against us?

The short answer is no. There are some attacks that we can ignore. Usually, the ones that deserve to go further are the ones that cause damage in a physical way, in our property or to our reputation. I had once a person that by a gossip that used my image saying untruths about me in a Facebook group. When that happened I answered right away to try to solve this before it goes too far.

My luck is that my wife is a lawyer and she knows how to answer this type of thing so she oriented me on the best way to answer. It went well the my public reputation wasn't so badly damaged, since the person decided to withdraw the accusations, so people understood. However, if it wasn't the case I would need to take some other actions against this person. At the moment anyone feel damaged somehow can look for some actions with a lawyer's help or even the police depending of the case.

But in another example like a very local example such as a Hive community, lately we had some fights in the Hive-BR community which led to some strong accusations between some different sides. In this case I don't think that it can have a more severe intervention where we can use some police or judicial court. Regular fights can occur in any brotherhood or community. Feelings were hurt indeed but even if nobody goes after sorry the reach of this fight and accusations aren't enough to damage a person life for the rest of their lives.

Humans are complicated and fights occur everyday, but not all of them need to be brought to a judicial instance or police. Unless there is real damage for us, a life threat for example or the destruction of something that will require us to spend money to fix it or even take chances for us to continue our lives normally. Public figures suffer that a lot and it is so much that they can't defend themselves from all accusations at one time, it is impossible. And for us that aren't so famous we need to know how separate which fight is needed to continue its pursuing.

Eu estava pensando em como figuras importantes como o governo ou celebridades lidam com cada caso de agressão. Por exemplo, você pode ver todos os dias na internet ou mesmo nas ruas pessoas usando a frase "F*CK TRUDEAU" usando memes do nosso primeiro-ministro roubando, ou ele usando vestimentas de prisão. Não estou defendendo essa figura, acho que muitas de suas decisões para liderar nosso país falharam e ele tomou muitas decisões ruins. Mas toda essa exposição desnecessária é um pouco injusta. E esse tipo de uso de imagem pode ser dito a qualquer outra figura importante, como Trump, Elon Musk, atores, músicos, etc. Eles processam todo mundo? Eu não acho, geralmente, eles vão contra repercussões importantes. E nós? devemos seguir o caminho judicial por tudo que vai contra nós?

A resposta curta é não. Existem alguns ataques que podemos ignorar. Normalmente, os que merecem ir mais longe são os que causam danos de forma física, em nossa propriedade ou em nossa reputação. Certa vez, tive uma pessoa que por uma fofoca que usou minha imagem dizendo mentiras sobre mim em um grupo do Facebook. Quando isso aconteceu, respondi imediatamente para tentar resolver isso antes que fosse longe demais.

Minha sorte é que minha esposa é advogada e sabe como responder a esse tipo de coisa, então ela me orientou sobre a melhor maneira de responder. Correu tudo bem, minha reputação pública não foi tão prejudicada, já que a pessoa decidiu retirar as acusações, então as pessoas entenderam. No entanto, se não fosse o caso, eu precisaria tomar outras medidas contra essa pessoa. No momento, qualquer um que se sinta prejudicado de alguma forma pode procurar algumas ações com a ajuda de um advogado ou até mesmo da polícia, dependendo do caso.

Mas em outro exemplo, como um exemplo muito local, como uma comunidade Hive, ultimamente tivemos algumas brigas na comunidade Hive-BR que levaram a algumas acusações fortes entre alguns lados diferentes. Neste caso, não acho que possa haver uma intervenção mais severa, onde podemos usar alguma polícia ou tribunal judicial. Brigas regulares podem ocorrer em qualquer irmandade ou comunidade. Sentimentos foram feridos de fato, mas mesmo que ninguém vá atrás, desculpe, o alcance dessa luta e acusações não são suficientes para prejudicar a vida de uma pessoa pelo resto de suas vidas.

Os humanos são complicados e brigas acontecem todos os dias, mas nem todas precisam ser levadas a uma instância judicial ou à polícia. A menos que haja danos reais para nós, uma ameaça à vida, por exemplo, ou a destruição de algo que exigirá que gastemos dinheiro para consertá-lo ou até mesmo correr riscos para que possamos continuar nossas vidas normalmente. Figuras públicas sofrem muito com isso e é tanto que não conseguem se defender de todas as acusações ao mesmo tempo, é impossível. E para nós que não somos tão famosos precisamos saber o quão separada é a luta necessária para continuar sua perseguição.
