Here's a brief update on the stages of banana growing:
Stage 1: Germination (1-2 weeks)
- Seeds or suckers sprout into new plants
- First leaves emerge, followed by rhizome development
Stage 2: Rhizome Development (2-4 weeks)
- Rhizome grows, producing new shoots and roots
- Plant height increases, and leaves unfurl
Stage 3: Pseudostem Formation (4-6 weeks)
- Stem-like structure (pseudostem) forms from rolled leaves
- Plant grows taller, and leaves become larger

Stage 4: Flowering (6-8 weeks)
- Male flower emerges, followed by female flowers
- Fruit formation begins

- Bananas grow and mature
- Bunches form, and fruit ripens
Stage 6: Harvesting (10-14 weeks)

Stage 7: Post-Harvest (after harvesting)
- Plant continues to produce new growth
- Suckers emerge for next crop
Growth Cycle Duration: 10-14 weeks (approximately 3-4 months)
