Exploring The Feast Day of Saint Lucy

Every December I posted the same events that happened to our lives. The novena, the fiesta, Christmas parties. I can imagine, it's the same, nothing improve even a little. Our clothes just change, what I really want to share is that I brought my kids at that place, to the mall or the eatery... I'm really trying my best but every year I end up disappointing myself. On the other hand I still have more days left before 2024 ends. I envy my husbands relatives in their social media account they were able to bring their kids at the mall. They played a lot, their kids was very happy while we need to enjoy the same old vibe.
Before the feast day of our Saint Lucy healer of the eye. We watched a battle of majorettes. I'm not a fan of watching it, but because my husband asked me to accompany him. I realized that it was fun spending the night at the barrio. What we do in regular nights is attend the mass watch a little band and go home. But that night I had a lot of time, while waiting for the majorette to perform me and co-parents are talking about a lot of stuff.
Here is the First group
Me and my friends notice that their blouse are falling. Some of them are not comfortable, but they perform professionally.
Second Group
Their costumes fit perfectly, I already enjoy the first but I admire seeing this. Ria even told that she'll also perform this talent when she grow up. We couldn't wait for the announcement of winner, it's already late and I'm sleepy too
The food
Because we live in the water world we don't cooked a lot hubby just contribute money to her mother so we can have food for the fiesta. Our visitor need to ride a boat if they want to pay a visit. But when theirs additional family gatherings, we stay long so we can help with the other chores. My mother in-law cooked a little dish, we knew that the previous visitor will not bother to cross the muddy road or be hesitant to ride a boat. And what we expect was right, we have no visitors for this year 😔. The excess food was brought to my brother-in-law's house on Manila.
At the final night when we went to the church I was shocked to see the high tide. Good thing my brother-in-law accompany us with his tricycle. The vendors are all packing their things because they are afraid that their stuff will be ruined. While the others stay calm and hope that the thing's will get better. Everyday we have a high tide and low tide. We need to get along with what life brings to us.
I bought some earings at the stores, we just walked on the part where there is no water. Ria bought a lot of toys, this time I'm the one who choose her stuffs.
My daughter @katsuki29 and her friend sell their item. Katsuki made a keychain using a fuzzy wire. While her friend sew a crochet. They didn't expect that they will earn money. At first they hesitate to sell but their friends came and support their stuff. Handmade are very cute and customers will surely love their products.
