"Oh! What a lovely cafe! It looks good on the camera!"

You can say it that way or you could just utter "Aesthetic!" and that's it. That's all you have to say on Instagram to describe a place, such as a coffee shop or a restaurant, to entice a flock of people. I'm sometimes guilty of this superficial need to be always surrounded by the good little things in life. But I couldn't take all the blame, society is partly at fault. 😂

I'm not sure if the same holds in your area but here in the Philippines, how a place looks seems more important than the quality of food they offer. I'd say that this is the first ultimate budol of the year.

One random evening, my boyfriend and I went to Ayala Center Cebu. We were strolling around when we bumped into this newly opened aesthetic coffee shop. We were both curious about what this new cafe offers so we jumped in and without thinking twice, chose drinks from their menu. The consolation of this spontaneous food trip is that you won't be disappointed with their cafe's design. The ambiance was on point; it felt like either stepping onto one of the white beaches in South Cebu or reaching the summit and seeing the view of the majestic sun from the top. With their wall designs and camping-themed tables and chairs, you'll instantly feel relaxed.

Their cafe's design set the bar high but when we got our order, we both looked at each other, and by the look on our faces after the first sip, we concluded never to go back to this cafe. Their menu is incoherent with their cafe's design. I couldn't even point out which part of the food we ordered wasn't pleasing; the taste and texture didn't make sense. It was a total waste of money for me. So here I am sending a clear warning never to be fooled with all things aesthetic.
