BELMEKEN PEAK AND DAM. CROSSING IN RILLA MOUNTAIN / HOW TO PHOTOGRAPH WITH A TOURIST GROUP

I haven't been this angry since my wife made me meatless chicken soup years ago..._

When I get rich, I will certainly live in a place with a similar landscape!

On Sunday 4/07/2022, I went on a mountain hike with mountaineer friends. We were a small group, but I managed to get to know a girl who, like me, bangs his board / in a positive way, of course /.

_It is she who poses in almost all the photos.

BELMEKEN DAM

This beautiful dam is located at 1,923 meters above sea level, which makes it the highest dam with an embankment wall in the Balkans. Another record that little Bulgaria holds!_

It was built in 1974 and its main purpose is the production of electricity. But fishermen can rest easy. There is fishing all year round. Kayaking and windsurfing are also practiced on the dam.

The weather wasn't very good for photography, but by stalking the clouds I managed to get some cool shots. And the model contributed a lot to me.

The white spots on the mountain are from snow. There was a great cool breeze and I don't like to put on anti-burn oils, I didn't feel like my head was burning like a tender grilled chicken at all.

You can see what interesting photos you can bring home even from a tourist excursion. As long as, of course, you are flexible enough for a complete stranger to trust you.

We named this cone-likeness - the Rila pineapple. This time the scenery captivated me and I forgot the details. I couldn't miss the pineapple though.
