Lyaskovets Monastery "Sv. Sv. Peter and Paul"

Hello dear friends in the hive! I hope you are well! Today I want to share with you my weekend experience from a very beautiful place! This place is located in Bulgaria, Veliko Tarnovo District, Town of Lyaskovets. The name of the place or more precisely the monastery is St. St. Peter and Paul

Before I show you the monastery itself, I want to show you how beautiful the view is from up high, where the monastery itself was built! This place offers a unique view of the town of Lyaskovets, as well as the nearby Gorna Oryahovitsa! In these photos is my little princess Valeria, who is posing against the background of this amazing view, dressed in a traditional Bulgarian costume!

 The monastery itself is built on a very large rock! The year of its construction is not well known, but it is estimated to be around 1450!

The combination of architecture and nature there is very beautiful! Also observed is the crossroad between the green sea with its forest and sprawl and on the other hand, the blue sea in the face of the dark blue sky! This phenomenon can only be judged by nature and God! 🙏

And now I will show you the monastery itself, which is amazing, both from the outside and from the inside! Unfortunately, photos inside the monastery itself and the church itself are prohibited, so I will only show you from the outside. For that, if you pass through my homeland and in particular this area of ​​Bulgaria, you can visit it in person and enjoy my words about its beauty! 🤍💚❤️

Now in the following pictures you will see the beautiful bell tower of the monastery. With its bell ringing, it leads the mountain and the entire town of Lyaskovets on every occasion, holiday or event.

In the very courtyard of the monastery there is a wonderful garden of paradise, filled with many trees and flowers of all kinds! There in the middle is the church (chapel) where church liturgies and other customs are held! That's all for today from me friends!
