I'm back after a few days in Krakow!!

Hello to all the travelers in this community!

Lately, I've been a bit absent, but mostly because I've forgotten several times to write and share my travel experiences with you. To be honest, I've been feeling a bit down recently because my mom hasn't been well, so I haven't had much energy to do many things. However, I've tried to travel because I find it's the only thing that can free my mind from my problems.

So today, since I'm not going out because it's very hot here, I'll share with you some photos I took in Krakow.

A few weeks ago, my dear friend Antonella found some flights from Milan to Krakow almost by chance. Recently, Krakow has become a popular destination, especially for Italians, because connecting flights are inexpensive, and apparently, this also applies to what I've seen live. The prices are great compared to other cities and places in Europe.

So without much thought, I told her to book them, and she also took care of booking a hotel. She has known me for a long time, so she knows my tastes and what I look for when I go on vacation.

This time I chose a destination without the sea. I wasn't very convinced about this choice because for me, summer vacations mean the sea and the beach. However, I think it's good to change things up occasionally and not always do the same things.

I must say I was very impressed by Poland and Krakow because I found it to be a very beautiful and clean city, rich in history and culture. Even though I'm not someone who loves art and culture very much, I could still appreciate every corner of this beautiful city, and I found it very lively compared to certain cities in Italy.

And I can confirm what some of my friends had told me, that it's very economical both for accommodation and for eating out. In fact, there are many places where you can stop to eat. Of course, it's not on the level of Milan, but I have to say I ate some really good things that I liked a lot without spending much.

As you could see, I've shared some random photos I took. I was told that unfortunately, many things in this city were rebuilt after World War II because they were destroyed during the bombings. There would have been discussions like the one at Auschwitz, but honestly, I didn't feel like going to that place, where a dark page of world history was written.

Even in the evening, I must say this city was very lively and vibrant, and I really enjoyed taking late-night walks. Moreover, I found it to be very safe compared to Milan, where it's become dangerous to go out even during the day.

So, I can only recommend this city, and I hope you can visit it soon too. I was very happy with my trip, but I'll probably try to go to a seaside destination as well because I also need the sea. See you soon, and I hope the story was interesting! Hello everyone.
