Hello, friends especially foodies!

Recently I craved of fish n chip and would like to have it soon for my dinner, in order to fulfill my craveness I asked mommy to accompany me to have dinner. Mommy actually is my late mom’s best friend and I called her mommy.
The restaurant where we planned to have fish n chips was this restaurant. Named, Nanny’s Pavillon, it was located right next to the cinema at Lippo Puri Mall. A mall in West Jakarta.

The restaurant had greeny looked with the artificial plants around it, it looked like a small garden in front of a house.

Here was the entry gate, it was quite wide and it had a small monitor on the left plus some menu books on a high table.

Inside of the restaurant was full of customers. The light was yellow dimmed with the touch of green color for their kitchen land’s area and also it had touch of orange color from their soft wooden chairs. This place also had touch of wood from the natural wooden floor that they used. When you see their dining area, such a nice place to dine in and to do chit chat. No wonder many were there!

Right away after we reached our table, the one menu I asked for was fish n chips but it was not a lucky day for me cause they already sold it out. Oh, no! let me check what menu should I take for the substitute…

First they mentioned in their menu book about if you dine in at their restaurant near your birthday, to celebrate it until 7 days after your birthday they will give you a free birthday cake, Nanny’s Happy Rainbow Pancake and it was without any minimum purchase. I think it would be nice to celebrate my next birthday with them, how do you think?
Next to it, they had some kind of salad in their menu book like grilled salmon salad, Caesar salad, and kale pomelo salad.
Second, they also had some lite bites like cheesy fries, truffle fries, loaded fries, easy potato, nachos, and fried buttermilk mushroom.
And of course they had their famous pancakes, and also waffles in sweet and also savoury flavour. The flavour that they provided were original, blueberry & cheese, banana fudge, simply banana, double mango, peanut caramel, strawberry lover, sizzling chocolate, sizzling crepes suzette, black crunchy caramel, crazy chocolate, waffle chocolate fondue, sausage cheesy, and hot banana cheesy.
Now for the pasta they had laksa pasta, carbonara, truffle mac n cheese, hot tuna spaghetti, creamy chicken pesto spaghetti, lasagna, green sausage pasta, meat lover penne, Bolognese, chicken capers fettucine, spaghetti olio mushroom, salmon fettucine and steak spaghetti.
They also had rice menus such as Nanny’s fried rice, squid fried rice, salmon baked rice..

Crispy chicken baked rice, tuna baked rice and dory baked rice.

They also had mains like black angus striploin steak, black angus rib eye steak, chicken steak, fish n chips (but it was unfortunately sold out), and grilled salmon.

There for the beverages they had Nanny’s mango mocktail, Nanny’s blueberry mocktail, lemongrass & lime mocktail, passion fruit tea, blueberry milkshake, cookies n cream milkshake, strawberry milkshake, chocolate hazelnut, iced honey lemon, vanilla milkshake, mojito mocktail, mixed berries punch, lychee mojito, orange juice, strawberry juice, mango juice, kind of teas, iced tea, lychee iced tea, peach iced tea, sparkling water, cappuccino, latte, americano, caramel macchiato, milk coffee, espresso and chocolate.

After we ordered, around 10 minutes the one that came first was our beverage. We ordered NANNY’S MANGO MOCKTAIL. It came in a high jug that a waiter poured it in two cups for us.

Looked tempting, it had mango based juice with lots of real fruits in it. The fruits that it came along with were mango, apple, and also strawberry. It tasted sweet and a bit sour. Served chilled, it was so fresh and also full of vitamin, look that it contained some fruits which contained vitamins. So you could get vitamins from very tasty drink!

And then not a long time, our dinner came to our table. While mommy chose HOT TUNA SPAGHETTI, I chose their another type of pasta CHICKEN CAPERAS FETTUCINE.

Here was mommy’s from a closer view. She really enjoyed her dinner, nice!

While mommy enjoyed her pasta dinner, my mind was still thinking about the fish n chip I couldn’t have that day. Instead I had to accidentally order their pasta.

 

 
In my opinion, the fettucine they cooked was great and al dente. It was not overcooked or less cooked, so it served in its’ perfect condition. It had creamy sauce with savoury flavour. It accompanied with mushroom and capers. Plus it had breaded chicken on top with extra mozzarella cheese which also had savoury flavour. The chicken had thin crispy but soft skin with soft meat inside. I thought nothing special with their pasta, oh maybe I was too obsessed with fish n chip.

Of course, I recommend you to come to this restaurant because they had fresh beverage and maybe you wanna try their pasta.
