Hello friends of Family and Friends. It is a pleasure for me to participate in this activity of @mayvileros. Although I arrived a little late to read the Christmas schedule, today's activity seems to me to be just what Christmas is all about and its conciliatory spirit.

My dad, Antonio Jimenez and his wife Yamelys Medina. My brother Yangregory and his wife GIO. My wife Anya Alter, my two daughters, Angelina Jimenez and Olivia Jimenez.

Our story, like every family, is that in my youth, we went through many problems that forced me to leave my home and be one more in the street. That transition of not knowing how to face or guide a teenager in certain things can be difficult for a father who only knew how to work and bring home the bread.

My history and family relationship as a teenager does not make me proud, but nevertheless, it left me many lessons that made me mold the character and the way of being that I have today. And although I lived through some ugly things, I know that everything was allowed for the good.

When I was young, I gave my dad a lot of headaches, I was a rebellious person without need. However, I believe that I did need professional guidance to be able to see things from a logical and rational point of view.

During the last few years, I have given myself the task of rebuilding the family relationship and giving myself the opportunity to rediscover my dad. I recognize that it was not easy, but thanks to God and my aunt Elia who is in heaven (or so I want to believe) we were able to recover our connection.

A few years ago, on December 31st, we met in this same house, and in private I managed to have a delicate conversation with my dad, where I asked for forgiveness for all the things I did to him and that made him suffer in silence (only men know how hard it is to suffer in silence) that day we drank many beers and I felt like the prodigal son, I was welcomed with open arms and received forgiveness.

I think this story is the most beautiful thing that has happened to me in my life, living through difficult times has made me a strong man (although some people believe the opposite) because of that, I learned the true value of what a family is, the one that in spite of everything, will always be there to give you a hand, even if you think you don't deserve it.

This photo was taken on December 24 of this year (2023) and thanks to this activity, it has made me see how far I have advanced in time and the role I now have in my life.

Today I am a father of two girls and I have a very beautiful wife whom I love with my soul. And just like my dad, I want to be a good example for them. I also want to be that helping hand that will never let them fall apart, because if at some point they have to cry, I will still be with them to give them my shoulder and free them from any adversity.

Hola amigos de Family and Friends. Es un gusto para mí participar en esta actividad de @mayvileros. Aunque llegué un poco tarde a leer el cronograma navideño, justamente la actividad de hoy me parece propio de lo que significa la navidad y su espíritu conciliador.

La foto que vengo a presentar es una foto familiar. En ella están acompañándome:
Mi papá, Antonio Jiménez y su esposa Yamelys Medina. Mi hermano Yangregory y su esposa GIO. Mi esposa Anya Alter, mis dos hijas, Angelina Jiménez y Olivia Jiménez.

Nuestra historia, como toda familia es que en mi juventud, atravesamos muchos problemas que me obligaron a dejar mi hogar y ser uno más de la calle. Esa transición de no saber enfrentar u orientar a un adolescente en ciertas cosas, puede ser difícil para un padre que solo sabía trabajar y traer el pan a la casa.

Mi historia y relación familiar de adolescente no me enorgullece, más sin embargo, me dejó muchas enseñanzas que me hicieron moldear el carácter y la forma de ser que tengo actualmente. Y aunque viví cosas feas, se que todo fue permitido para el bien.

De joven, le di muchos dolores de cabeza a mi papá, era una persona rebelde y sin necesidad. Más sin embargo creo que si necesité una orientación profesional para poder ver las cosas desde un punto de vista lógico y racional.

Durante los últimos años, me he dado la tarea de reconstruir la relación familiar y de darme la oportunidad de redescubrir a mi papá. Reconozco que no fue algo fácil, pero gracias a Dios y a mi tía Elia que se encuentra en el cielo (o al menos eso quiero creer) logramos recuperar nuestra conexión.

Hace algunos años, un 31 de diciembre, nos reunimos en esta misma casa, y en privado logré entablar una conversación delicada con mi papá, dónde pedí perdón por todas las cosas que le hice y que lo hicieron sufrir en silencio (Solo los hombres, sabemos lo duro que es sufrir en silencio)ese día tomamos.muchas cervezas y yo; me sentí el hijo pródigo, fui recibido con los brazos abiertos y recibí el perdón.

Creo que está historia es la cosaas bonita que me ha ocurrido en la vida, vivir tiempos difíciles me han hecho un hombre fuerte (aunque algunas personas crean lo contrario) por eso, aprendí el verdadero valor de lo que es una familia,la que a pesar de todo, siempre estarán ahí para darte una mano, aunque creas que no la merezcas.

Esta foto, fue tomada el 24 de diciembre de este año (2023) y gracias a esta actividad, me ha hecho ver el terreno que he avanzado en el tiempo y el rol que ahora tengo en mi vida.

Hoy soy padre de dos niñas y tengo una esposa muy hermosa a la cual amo con el alma. Y así como mi papá, quiero ser un buen ejemplo para ellas. También deseo ser esa mano amiga que nunca las dejara derrumbarse, porque si en algún momento han de llorar, igual estaré con ellas para darles mi hombro y liberar las de cualquier adversidad.
