Before anything else, I'd like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to our guild's leader, **Donma**, for his unwavering support of our guild members, especially myself. So, without further ado, today I'm presenting the first post in the _Skyweaver_ series of articles. They began as a closed beta last year that required invite codes to play and have recently opened to the public but are still in the beta stage. [Horizon.io](https://horizon.io/), the company that created the game, also stated that much more content will be added in the near future. ##### Mechanics of the game? Featuring advance gameplay system, top notch graphics, multiple choices of heroes to choose from, balanced decks,deep layered structures,and over 500 cards of _units_ and _spells_ combined to be use for building your decks, the game is by far one step than the others that fall within the same category.

What ” to distinguish [Skyweaver](https://www.skyweaver.net/) from it other competition is it limitless play possibilities and strategies during the match. The game mechanics are extremely complex due to the use of a combination of five variables: _prism_, _spells_, _units_, _traits_, and _elements_. With each card having its own _tribes_ and _factions_ they were born into. There were also many others variable that determine the cards strength and how to use it into battlefield thus manipulating the outcomes of the battle. These should already give you a picture about limitless of possible strategies that can be created around a deck of 30 cards. All this resulting in non-repetitive battles, which means that no battle will be the same as the previous one. Each of the above-mentioned points could be discussed separately because they each have their own constructed system, which we can go over in greater detail in the subsequent articles in this series.

## How to play the games? _Skyweaver_ is a card game. The goal is to zeroed the opposite **hero** health points while both side started with initial of 30hp. The both **hero** will fight using their **deck** consisting of thirty card ,which are cards mix of both _units_ and _spells_ type. As you begin the battle, you must select four cards from the list of seven that were given to begin with, as the system determines who gets to play first. You will either play the cards in your **hand** to the **battlefield** or pass, or you may not have enough **mana** to play and will have to wait until your **maximum mana** increases on the next turn.

You should know by now that you'll need mana to summon your cards. Starting from two.The mana cost of cards varies according to their strength. As for mana, it will be replenished at the start of each turn, and the amount you can hold will also increased. There is no limit to the amount of maximum mana that you can have. Also, keep in mind that there is a timer for you to complete whatever strategies you have in mind for the turn. But don't worry, because each action you take during the turn will add a few seconds to the timer. With that in mind, think and consider which cards should be deployed first, then execute it systematically. One wrong step like carelessly making your hero attack before utilizing cards with has _banner_ as it traits thus failing to delivery maximum damage as possible will often making you lose the game. All cards each have their own way of interacting with one another. As the play progresses, there seems to be an infinite number of ways for the battle to play out. You don't have to be surprised at times when you think you're going to have the finishing blow on the next turn and then the table flips against you in the blink of an eye. Each battle that you will engage, will just add more to the excitements. You can try other hero of different prism, or you can just chill out while building your decks for all 15 heroes that you can play for absolutely for free. Also you don't have to worry as the based cards will be awarded each time your level up so you don't have to spend any dime but still can build the decks to play the game.

## Game modes Speaking of **modes**, there are several to choose from. _ranked_ mode is divided into **_discovery_** and **_construct_** modes, each with its own ranking in which the person who sits at the top every week earns **Silver cards** that can be sold on the marketplace. There is also a _conquest_ mode which required you to using **ticket** to enter in which you can compete for **Golden Cards** .Those silver and gold cards are **_ownable_** and can be trades at the **marketplace**. As the other mode is regular mode that you always saw in the other games, like **training** mode for players to hone their skills in battle with bots, **private** mode for friend battles, and the _tutorial_ that anyone should not skipped when they started game for the first time. ## How to get started? Now comes the most important part. How do you get started? From there you should already know what to do like follow the simple account creation step, blah blah , and wallah all's done and you ready for the Sky, it just as simple as that.
