Podría decirse que las ideas más cercanas a esto fueron planteadas por Pierre Joseph Proudhon, un filósofo francés del Siglo XIX. En sus tiempos sus ideas fueron muy difundidas (influenciando incluso a Ezequiel Zamora en Venezuela). Es por esto que se le llama “Mutualismo”, ya que combina aspectos del capitalismo y el socialismo, sustituyendo al Estado por cantones o regiones descentralizadas. Pero Proudhon no estaba de acuerdo en las ideas comunistas de Marx, ya que allí el Estado convertía al individuo en esclavo. Hay que recalcar que en dichos años las ideas de capitalismo y socialismo eran algo diferentes a las que conocemos hoy.

Proudhon estaba de acuerdo con la propiedad privada, pero no para lucro de grandes capitales. Es un poco difícil de entender lo que pensaba Proudhon acerca de la propiedad privada. Además, hablaba de una especie de “Banco del Pueblo”, el cual debía dar créditos sin intereses. Proudhon estaba en contra del interés, la renta y el lucro.

Creo que Hive y su ecosistema no encajan del todo en la teoría mutualista, pero podría decirse que hay algunas similitudes...

Proudhon defendía el libre mercado, pero siempre bajo igualdad o equidad, tratando de que ninguna de las partes recibiera mayor beneficio que la otra. Pero dentro del mutualismo existen las cooperativas. Una cooperativa se define según Wikipedia como:

Una cooperativa es una asociación autónoma de personas unidas voluntariamente para formar una organización democrática cuya administración y gestión debe llevarse a cabo de la forma que acuerden los socios.

Es decir, ¿Puede decirse que una comunidad de Hive es una cooperativa? Claramente una comunidad de Hive no es un mercado, es algo que va más allá de lo económico, y no depende de un ente central, sino que funciona de forma autónoma, gracias a la blockchain de Hive. Los usuarios que publican contenido en una comunidad acuerdan con las normar establecidas allí.
