Have you ever heard of Gayo coffee, this is the appearance of this coffee, decades ago this coffee was not widely known by people, but in recent years even the world has recognized the pleasure of this coffee, several markets in Europe even admitted that there was always a shortage of supplies of this type. the Arabica coffee that we have, and in this first post I will try to show you a little about the coffee that I have

This is the moment when I harvest the first coffee this year, I think all types of coffee will be harvested once a year, but it could take several harvests, from a few fruit to a flood later, and this is the condition of the coffee I have, the fruit there are still not too many mature ones

I have a coffee plantation covering an area of one hectare, and it was a gift from my parents, I manage it myself in the free time I have as a student, so it's natural that the fruit is not as abundant as other people's, because I can't always focus on taking care of it. my coffee

There are several types of coffee that I have on that one hectare of land, but all of them are still classified as Arabica coffee, but the variants are different from each other, the top picture for example, is a super Arabica type which is usually exported abroad. , but the one in my photo is local Arabica which is usually consumed for personal consumption

Now this is the super coffee that I said before, unfortunately I don't have much of this type of coffee, because it is still very young, in fact they only started producing fruit this year, look at that green coffee, I am very excited to see the fruit is so fresh

Helped by several people, I started picking coffee from morning to evening, and currently the price is quite high, different from previous years, and I usually sell the beans, because it is much more expensive than if I sell whole as seen in the picture

This first harvest I got three sacks of coffee, and after picking, I immediately took it to my uncle's place to be ground, later I will dry the coffee beans in the sun until dry before I sell them, that's the process we carry out here, but there are also some people who just sell it straight away

It can also be seen that some of the coffee is still green and yellow, but that is not a problem, because all the coffee is old, but the cold air temperature here makes the ripening process a little late, and usually exporters will also separate the best quality coffee from the best quality. Just normal

And this is the village Arabica coffee that I mentioned above, here we process it ourselves by mixing it with several other ingredients, such as pulut rice, peanuts and grinding it together, thus creating a distinctive taste that we cannot find in any cafe in the world. because we do not sell this type of coffee powder on the market

That's probably a little about the coffee that I have, and I also wish those who celebrate Eid Al-Fitr a happy Eid, sorry if there are any shortcomings and please advise.
