If I were to entertain a visitor in my city this festive period, come to think of it what is the essence of the holidays without exploring, I don't like staying at home during the holidays, and thats why my guest is going to love me because I'll spoil her, or is it a him well anyone with sightseeing.

When you think of Port Harcourt what comes to your mind? Or you haven't thought of Port Harcourt before? Well, you think of pleasure because the city has amazing places you could visit, not forgetting the delicious meals you'll be having as well, now where is my city located? Port Harcourt is the capital of Rivers State, in history, it is known as the fifth-largest city in Nigeria, its located in the southern part of the country.

Places we'll visit will solely depend on what my guests want when we go out but that does not mean I won't bring up ideas of the nicest places we have here in the city. Most places here in the city combine two or more activities to engage in so they won't feel bored staying at a spot. Here are places I'll take my guest to:

Pleasure Park
Just as the name implies pleasure is the only thing you can find there, according to history Pleasure Park is ranked as one of the best tourist attractions in the country. I'll walk them around the park to engage in different activities like taking a peaceful boat ride on the man-made lake that looks very much like a real lake, then we'll have a picnic on the grass with good meals to fill our stomachs, and then we'll go see the water fountain cause this is something unusual and so colorful, we can go fishing, the park has a spot where you'll pay some cash then they'll give you a fishing hook to start fishing, fortunately, you might catch a fish and if you do automatically it belongs to you, imagine you caught a fish what would you do with it?

The Spar (PH shopping mall)
You can't come to Port Harcourt City without visiting the shopping mall, it offers everything you need, cosmetics, electronics, from groceries to wears owned by different vendors in the facility, I've been there severally doesn't mean I go there to buy things every time though I go there for sightseeing sometimes. So I'll take my visitors there so we can have our Christmas shopping, walk around the facility take good pictures, and try to make friends with other people.

Tourist Beach
This is one place I'll take my guests to when they visit my City, just like any other beach you can think of, the tourist beach in Port Harcourt offers the difference as well, We can play in the cool water, listen to some local music from bars on the beach, and then try out some local palm wines and other local delicacies. I'll ensure my guests try our all-time favorite dish. Notwithstanding there are a lot of games to play at the beach, like volleyball, playing football on the sand, and watching the boat race. I hope you get to visit my city someday.
