Hello everyone!
This will be the last update for my upcoming birthday celebration. In case you're not aware, I'm reiterating the details here:
In case you're not aware, this coming August 26 will be my 30th birthday and I decided to do something different. Let me reiterate the details here:
What: Field Trip of Amancion Elementary School Kids to Cebu Safari and Adventure Park
When: August 26, 2023 (My 30th Birthday)
Where: Carmen, Cebu
Beneficiaries: 25 Kids and Teachers of Amancion Elementary School
Estimated Budget: Php 55,000 (1,000 HBD)
Accumulated Funds: 817.122 HBD
Goal Attainment: 81.71%
Before I decided to have this fundraising activity, I already commit that if ever the goal is not attained, I'll shoulder the remaining cost. Based on the current attainment rate, I'm sure that the goal will be attained because there are still pledges from different people, both here in Hive and from my friends. Thank you so much for your support!
Here's the updated list of donors:
Donations in HBD
Donations in HIVE
Donations in PHP
Rewards from Posts
Together with the excess funds from the previous project at 16.733 HBD + 139.173 HIVE + PHP 7,817.22, the total accumulated funds as of this writing is at:
Accumulated Funds: 220.181 HBD + 999.629 HIVE + PHP 16,417.22
Conversions of HIVE and PHP to HBD at current conversion rates led to the HBD value of 817.122 above.
Downpayment to Avail the Discount
Aside from the reservation fee for the transportation, one of the teachers coordinated with a staff from Cebu Safari and we were able to avail for a discount. I sent PHP 2,500, so the total amount used so far is PHP 4,500. I'll have full accounting and transparency report anyway at the end of the end.
I'm supposed to prepare for a major climb tomorrow, but I decided to post this update before I leave. I won't be available starting tomorrow until Monday or Tuesday next week. I will be climbing one of the most difficult mountains to climb here in the Philippines and I'm the least prepared this time. Don't worry, in case something will happen to me in that mountain, this event will still push through. Specific instructions are left to my trusted people on how to access this account. With or without me, the kids should have fun at Cebu Safari.
I guess that's all for this update. I will still accept donations until August 25, 2023. As always, all rewards of this post will go to the project. See you in the next post!
