Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Battle of Opportunity

Hello everyone, this is my entry to the splinterlands social media challenge for this week. Let's get into one of my battles.

For this battle, I chose Lobb Lowland summoner to so I could use my legendary monster Quora Townsend.

Battle Tactics

In first position, I selected Pelacor Mercenary for its flying ability. I hoped it melee attacks directed at it would miss.

I selected Fungus Flinger in second position for its martyr ability.

In third position I selected Quora Townsen for its bloodlust, heal and double attack abilities.

In fourth position I selected vernari Markstrat for its martry ability.

In fifth position I selected Grund for its double melee attack ability.

Battle Details

Summoner buffs and debuffs took effect and the battle began. My enemy attacked first and second killing my second monster. My enemy's Quora gained +1 stats for killing my Fungus Flinger which in turn gave my Quora and first cards +1 stats since they were adjacent Fungus Flinger. My enemy's Quora delivered its third attack with Quoara and killed my other martry card gaining +1 stats and giving my Quora and Grund +1 stats as well. Before I even got the chance to attack, my Quora had an attack of 4 magic and 4 melee, Grund had 4 melee and my enemy's Quora had 4 magic and 4 melee attack too.

The first round continued with my first Quora attack killing my enemy's Vernari Markstart giving me +1 stats and giving my enemy's Quora and venari knifer +1 stats. My second Quora attack killed my enemy's last monster giving me +1 stats and taking my overall Quora stats to 6 melee and 6 magic.

I attacked again with grund killing my enemy's Fungus Flinger and rendering -4 health damage to Vernari Knifer and also receiving -2 thorns damage.

Round 2 started with my enemy's Quora attacking and killing my first monster. This resulted it my enemy getting +1 stats and my second monster going to first position. My Quora attacked twice killling my enemy's first monster and attacking my enemy's second. My Quora gained +1 stats from killing my enemy's first monster.

My last monster and my enemy's last attacked each other to end the round.

At the start of the third round, my enemy's first monster who was now Quora Townsend attacked my Quora twice taking my health 2 to. Fortunately, my Quora healed and attacked my enemy's Quora taking the health to 1. My last monster Grund delivered the last blow to finish my enemy's Quora off.

We finally entered the final round of battle which was round 4 and I was smiling now because the hard part had already been done. My Quora attacked twice leaving no further task for team mate Grund. My enemy was killed.
