A small Cup of Coffee in a Tiny shop in Rio

I went for a walk on the beach around 6AM one morning in Copacabana. I went to the weight lifting beach and slightly beefed up my arms. The sky looked dark and the wind was moving the clouds towards me.

Sooner than later, the rain started, so i heading inland to the neighborhoods to find a nice cup of coffee.

I spotted this tiny little coffee shop called simply, "The Coffee." The Coffee is what i was looking for so i gravitated towards it to see what they were working with.

The menu was in english so i was stoked. I ordered a Honey Latte that had cinnamon, and chocolate in it.

It was served to me in a small paper cup with a black lid.

It was now about 7:30 AM and i took my first sip of fresh coffee, which was actually expresso mixed with milk and a little normal coffee i think.

With the cold rain coming down hard on me from my walk from the beach, the first sip of warm coffee was utterly comforting.

I sat down at the small bar inside the shop and decided to wait out the rain.

The square footage of the coffee shop was probably around 200. It got me thinking, how opening a coffee shop this small would be kind of a fun gig to run.

The coffee that I ordered was good, but it was missing something. I expected to taste more honey and chocolate inside. it tasted just like a normal late. That is when I realized my mistake...

I didn't mix up the beverage before i began sipping. all the honey and the chocolate were sitting at the bottom. This was my mistake but ended up being a very enjoyable dessert to accompany the sipping prior.

Wow! look at all that chocolate and honey sitting down there waiting for me! Whats better? a sweet cup of coffee, or a bitter cup of coffee with something sweet to wash it down? I enjoyed drinking the thick chocolatey honey at the bottom as a dessert.

I havent taken a hot shower in 4 weeks since ive been in brazil because the weather is so warm its just better to take cold showers. I was planning to take my first warm shower when i got home, drenched from the rain but not feeling uncomfortably cold at all.

Quite the enjoyable morning for me today. thats all for now :)
