Chiang Mai is a city like no others. It's a nomad hub and when I have a chance to live here for a few months, I totally understand why. There's a vibe that other places don't have. So many activities and all things going on all the time so my life here is always busy.

There are a lot of co-working spaces around but even if you don't want to pay to use the space, you can always find a coffee shop just around the corner to work at everywhere you are. It's that good.

Great coffee shops to work from in Chiang Mai

Today, I have gathered 6 places that are actually good to work from in Chiang Mai. All the places I have visited several times. Some might be a bit more than the other but all of them serve decent coffee, have good vibes, and of course, you can get some work done there!

I have also started a new instagram account just to share all about coffee shops in Chiang Mai (most of them are to work from) so if you have any plan to come live and work here for a bit, just give it a follow! https://www.instagram.com/getitdone.cnx

The Baristro Asian Style

Best one to work at so far, for me, personally. Could be there from open to closed (10 hours straight. Been there done that. ) #noshame

Inside is cozy. Love the fact that the table is big enough to have all my work set up but small enough to have it all for myself all day and not feel too bad about it.

Can get noisy at times but when you're in the zone, you're in the zone.

Love the backyard with all the greens where I can take a break, read books, or even nap :)

FOHHIDE

Probably one of the coffee shops with the best view in town. Can see the One Nimman clock tower and Doi Suthep from here.

I wouldn't say it's the most comfortable work set up but I like the fact that it's hidden away on the 5th floor somewhere in Nimman. Quiet most of the time.

Love going there in the early morning and get some light work done while enjoying a good cup of coffee and great view!

Love it here <3

BeansLiquor

Love how spacious it is! 3 stories to choose from. The 2nd floor got the comfy (enough) booth and the 3rd floor got load tons of uncomfortable seats but good-height table for working.

Awesome to work with a cup of coffee in the morning or a pint of beer at night + sandwiches and pastas served here so can literally be here all day long.

They have live music during the weekends' nights too. What a vibe getting some shit done in a bar with live music!

One of my most favs <3

Roast8ry Coffee Flagship Store

Solid table. Hectic vibes. Loud music. Fancy looking coffee.

Almost doesn't feel like a good place for working but I have gotten shit tons of stuff done because of their gigantic strong table with build-in outlet.

The loud music, people mingling, and the movements are actually quite good to keep me in my own zone (surprisingly) and that makes it easier to focus.

Love the open air area. Love their fancy award winning latte arts. Love the skull cups. Love the service.

Blue coffee at Agriculture CMU

This one is an actual co-working space / coffee shop to work from located in Chiang Mai University.

Not just a proper working set up but also the view is spectacular! You can see the greens from all spots + great natural light in all corners!

Comfortable seats.. a little too small tables. Chill spots to hang and get some air outside with a green field and blue sky.

This is such a breathtaking place to get some shit done.

BOB Coffee

is so hip! Went there first time and I was literally 'Whoa!'.

One of the most unique space/coffee shop I have visited in Chiang Mai. Minimal and raw. Super spacious (I can't insist enough). Super chill. A few areas to choose from. Some are good for mingling and some are good for working.

There is a whole building set up almost like a co-working space. Not the most comfortable seats I would say but once in a while is good to come here and get some light shit done.

Drinks are so reasonable priced too compared to many places in Chiang Mai.

Cute little cartoons they got going on too and they're setting up a new breakfast restaurant.

BOB will become a whole empire! 🟠 𝗕𝗢𝗕'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗲

There are hundreds of all these in Chiang Mai and some are even hidden so this is for sure not the last post I share about great coffee shops to work from in this magical city. For now, I hope this is useful for some of you out there who ever want to come visit, live and work here in Chiang Mai :)
