Well, I am a Veterinarian, since i am a vet, many pet parents used to ask me that most of the times their pet dogs are trying to convey some message to them and they couldn’t understand it, as i had treat many dogs with different type of mentality i could able to catch few of their messages when they try to convey something to me, ill explain them in this below article.

Just Me

Head or Nose on our Knee

When your pet dog keeps its head or nose on your lap or knee and looking at you calmly with eyes raised at you, its trying to convey you that its feeling alone and need a company to spend time with it and play with it.

Usually the pet dogs which are kept alone in home with people going to work and the pet spending ita all day or most of its time alone shows this peculiar behavior frequently.

Solution: Best solution to overcome its loneliness is, either we should try to spend most of our time with this pets or else at least get another pet dog, so that they can spend their time together and by this we can avoid our pet dog loneliness.

Leg on our Knee

Well, when we may watch television or speaking with friends comfortably sitting on a chair, during this time your pet comes in and keeps its leg on our knees in an position of dominance means its trying to control us and want to convey that he is the boss and he rules the place,

We people should always try to avoid our pet doing it, because as days goes it becomes more dominant and goes out of our control and try to show its aggressiveness and sometimes attacks and bite us also.

Solution: Best solution to avoid and overcome this situation is that we should identify this problem in early stages of the pet dog behavior itself and control it, we should also try to avoid giving too much place for the dog, keep distance in means of privacy and its social behavior.

Leg Raised

Actually when you stand or sit or roam in your home somewhere, when your pet dog comes and raises its legs over you or raise and does a activity like calling you, its trying to say something to like its needs food or, what to poop or urinate or asking to take it for a walk or play with it.

Solution: Best way to avoid this problem is be close with your pets and know its daily activities and feed them at the correct time, take for walking regularly, play and spend some time with them.

Turn Back

Actually when human turn their back toward us, its a meaning they don’t like us or leaving us for any problem, but when your pet dog turn back and sits towards, it believes you 100% and it thins that you are completely harmless to it, and sometimes it also turn back and sit, just making us to know that we should cuddle or groom him or pat him on the back.

Yawn at us

In humans we yawn when we sleepy or feeling bored of the current situation but in dogs its completely different, dogs yawn when they are more attached to us and love us a lot and they like us as their closest friend of all.

But rarely yawn is also a sign of nervousness or fear, when dogs see some strange or unknown person who is close to the pet parent and pet parent said not to bark, they start to yawn by conveying that they don’t like that situation and wants the strange person to leave that place immediately.
