3d surreal abstract design

Hey there everyone,
as the month of celebrating 4 years on hive is coming to a close, there were some few 3d experiments i wanted to try with both the hive logo and the word hive, so i first of all tried the experiment on a normal square shape, if you wanna recreate this you can check out ducky 3d tutorial here:
~~~, but i made mine without it, ive already watched the tutorial like a million times, but if you want to do yours, with blender you can check out the tutorial, later on I'm gonna be trying this design out on the hive logo
Here's the behind the scenes:
the surrounding blocks was done with a simple geometry node, and the shell circle thing was just a subdivided ico sphere that had some faces deleted in the geometry and then smoothened with the smooth modifier
