SPLINTERLANDS: First Guild Shop Surprise!

Despite spending so many months in Splinterlands, I am still experiencing many things for the first time here, like recently, after achieving the first rank in Guild Battles for the first time, I found out that apart from all other rewards, Gladiator Packs can be purchased from the Guild Store through merits earned in the game itself. In the last few weeks, I have lost many battles due to the presence of Gladiator cards in the enemy camp, and the most powerful card I noticed was Quorra Towershead. I lost so many battles because of this card that now, as soon as I see this card in the enemy camp, I skip the battle because I am sure that I will lose it. But well, all that is the past because now I can also purchase Gladiator Packs.

So for this shopping, first of all, from the menu on the home page, I clicked on Buildings in Guild, then clicked on the Store button on the right side and then clicked on the Visit Store button that appeared just below it.

Here you can see my current Merit balance in addition to my Guild Crowns. Merits are the currency used to make purchases in the Guild Store. Here you can see that at my current Guild level, the only items available are the Gladius Case, which is basically a pack of 5 Gladiator cards and that's all I need for now.

Here, as soon as you click on that Gladius case, now you just have to read the information related to it that I am quoting and click on Pay With Merits.

Gladius Case: Each pack contains 5 random cards from the GLADIUS Gladiator set, with at least one guaranteed RARE CARD OR BETTER!

In Guild Brawls, you can play one Gladiator card per battle… and the Are You Not Entertained? Ruleset lets you play TWO of these powerful cards in each Guild Brawl battle and ONE in any Ranked or Tournament battle. Get yours now, and dominate the competition!

Gladiator cards are Soulbound, which means they can’t be traded, delegated, or sold. However, you can still convert them into Merits.

After a successful purchase, I visited the Mana Well to open my Gladius Case Pack. Now this is cinematic and looks so good. So here, I can see 1 Gladius Pack, which I had to drag from there and drop in the middle of the mana well. Once I did that, another page opened, and here are all 5 of my Gladius Cards.

Here you can see my Gladius cards. Surprisingly, I got 2 rare cards in it, but all the cards have very good stats, and all 5 of them have on common bloodlust ability. I am very happy to have these cards in my deck, although I am a little sad about not getting Quora Towershead, but these cards are also great and I am sure that with all of them my game will improve and hopefully this time I will be able to hold my position in the Silver League in the ranking. 😎
