James Bond: No Time To Die review - I expected more...

I have been waiting for the final James Bond movie with Daniel Craig to arrive for more than a year. COVID has delayed the movie so many times, but finally, it is here, and I just got to watch it in the cinema. It was quite an experience, because it later for 2 1/2 hours, and I had a big portion of nachos with some salsa dip. But, if you forget about the snack I ate... what about the movie?
I have read quite a lot of good reviews about James Bond: No Time to Die. As a result, I went to the cinema with high expectations and I really looked forward to it. I am also a fan of action movies like this, meaning that I don't really need too much in order to be satisfied. But, when I left the cinema after watching the newest James Bond movie, I had mixed feelings. It was a totally fine experience, but nothing more.
I am a big fan also of the Mission Impossible movies, as they are a mixture of cool jokes and lots of action, and somehow, this felt a little bit like that. The only problem was that it didn't manage to satisfy my needs, neither when it comes to action, nor when it comes to the jokes.
The cool characters disappeared too quickly!
One thing that I thought of several times during the movie was that the cool characters disappeared too quickly. What do I mean? I am a big fan of Christoph Waltz, a guy we know from the James Bond movie Spectre. Well, he returns in No Time to Die, but his role is so tiny, that we do not really get to enjoy his company enough.
A second great character that I really enjoyed in the movie as the character of Ana de Armas. She played this really beautiful agent helping James Bond, but her role only lasted for 10-15 minutes of the movie, and I missed her later.
Rami Malik plays the role of the main "evil" in the movie, but to be honest, he doesn't really show up too often in the movie either. And somehow, the main story and concept of the movie is also quite vague. I normally don't care if I enjoy the action, but somehow, the thread throughout the movie and the plot itself was kind of tame.
I wouldn't watch it again...
So, if I had to sit down and watch another James Bond movie, I wouldn't watch James Bond: No Time To Die once again. I would much rather watch Spectre, or maybe Goldeneye, as I enjoyed those much more, and they had cooler characters.
Daniel Craig did his role well once again, but I don't think I will miss him as James Bond. To be honest, he is way better playing a role like the one he did in Knives Out in which he was exceptional!
What will happen to James Bond now?
That is the question. Daniel Craig is history as James Bond, and what will follow now? Many people speculate about whether the new 007 in No Time To Die will pick up the bat and do the role, but that would mean a female agent, and a quite no-name actor (something I highly doubt).
But, I wouldn't be surprised if the new and upcoming 007 would be black (skin color), and honestly, it could even end up being a woman, but I guess they will find a more famous actor for that role in the future if that would be so.
I am curious to find out what will happen, and I will for sure go to the cinema whenever a new James Bond movie will be released in the future.
Have you seen James Bond: No Time To Die? How did you like it?
