SHOOTING DOPE IMAGES IN 5 MINUTES WITH AN ANDROID PHONE

@loisdimples was heading out to work on this very day. She was dressed all sporty and dope. She asked me to come take her pictures with my camera. I wasn't really feeling like shooting or even doing anything. So I gave her a quick excuse (lol) as to why I shouldn't use my camera to shoot her.

Then she insisted I used her phone. She uses a Blackview Android device and the image quality is decent to an extent. There was no running away from this. I had to get up and follow her to a building we use for shoots. An abandoned and burnt building where no one stays.

The sun was really out that day and I loved it. The location made sense too. It was the same location I did the urban editorial shoot for my sister.

I tried to crack her up to get really candid shots. I'm a fan of candid photography because I believe the best photographs are candid photographs. Except I rare cases where the subject is a really professional poster and gives really good vibes and attitude.

This particular shot above was taken on the staircase leading to the last floor where we did the shoot. She was so interested in taking a photo on the stairs and I was like : " It's not a cool location and it just looks so uninteresting". But Lois insisted on shooting there and we got this amazing image.

I learnt a really important lesson from that. In as much as were professionals and all. We should always be open to constructive criticism or suggestions. You don't know what little detail you light be missing and then the suggestion points it out.
