Mark 15 New International Version (NIV)
2Pilate asked him, Are thou the King of the Jews? Answering him, he said unto him, Thou sayest.
9 And Pilate answered them, saying, Do you want me to let the King of the Jews go?
12 And Pilate said unto them, What, therefore, do ye want me to do that which ye call King of the Jews?
18 Then they began to greet him: Hail, King of the Jews!
26And the written title of his cause was: THE KING OF THE JEWS.
32The Christ, King of Israel, now descend from the cross, that we may see and believe. Those who were crucified with him also insulted him.

Today after reading several times the entire chapter I did not find a specific verse, but reflecting, the phrase "King of the Jews" always sounded to me and resuming the reading bring out these 6 verses.

I sense that it is a reminder, because the King is the one who governs, controls, directs, exercises dominion and power over his people.

I understand that I have to let myself be governed, but seriously, it is not that today yes and tomorrow no, the King is the King and he does what he says.

I'm telling you, I'm getting closer to you, Dad, and you answer me like this, obey the King.

Yes Dad, Jesus is the King, thank you.
