My Daily Devotional August 14, 2020.

Luke 17:17-19 New International Version
17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

I perceive in these three verses that you tell me about salvation by faith and thanksgiving as a test of faith.

I understand that you give me this reference within the context of teaching the disciples that the kingdom of heaven came by your grace, Dad, is among us.

This suggests to me that the principle to apply in my life is to "always be grateful for everything", knowing that by your grace is that I have free entry to your throne.

I note that you give me this illustration as a reminder that I must bring the kingdom to earth as Jesus said in the model prayer.
