The media controls have also been moved to the right earbud, making them easier to use during workouts. The new Powerbeats feature Apple's H1 chip, offering always listening Siri and seamless hot swapping between Apple devices. The battery life has been improved to 15 hours, and the earbuds now charge via lightning port, allowing for convenient charging with an iPhone. The sound quality, however, is a bit too bright with excessive treble, but this can be adjusted through EQ settings.
