Dangerous times in the water treatment plant
It was time to embrace the water treatment plant in the next step of growing stronger, looting more stockpile and clearing places out to be safe once more.
The start is simply just some storage with ammo, mines and other bits and pieces but there is a medical kit holding a stimpak, and the ever needed antibiotics and purified water which is a nice score.
First encounter in this place happens to be a machine gun turret just chilling in the corner of the ceiling of a room, if it wasn't for using cover and being quick then Arghrash would have gotten hurt a lot more due to the firepower it has.
"Now things are starting to get interesting. Let's check out what is behind this door.. Yes! A chemistry station, now I can create some more better quality chems" Arghrash said in a victorious tone. He managed to make some Psycho Jet to slow time and increase his strength and resistance to damage for a short time but it would be a solid chem to use like in the Mass Pike Tunnel.
Next step to clearing the water treatment plant out was to drain the water from it that has massed up inside the main area.
After flipping the pump control switch, the water drained part way down but still required a few more switches to completely drain the area but that was the least of his concerns for now. Mirelurks were infesting the area and these bad boys were no easy creature to take out and would require some head on combat, shooting their soft inner body.
"Come here Mirelurks and see what I have for you to play with" Arghrash said as he lured them back into the room which had the button to open the door before placing a landmine.
He had moved back far enough as the Mirelurk took chase, it was a little weaker from the previous shots done and then as it walked over the mine, it exploded and finished it off!
Another Mirelurk was still left to be killed and the revolver being used was pretty solid and quick while moving backward, doing a lot of damage in a short amount of time. Luckily there was plenty of distance to keep from getting hurt, this time at least but activating the other pumps could spell disaster.
"Got to be careful in this room and around activating the next pump. Seems like I will have less distance, view and time to react to the incoming Mirelurks that will come this time" Arghrash thought to himself as he headed on in.
Soon after doing so and while sneaking about, a machinegun turret was noticed and he was quick to finish it off before it got a chance to notice him.
But wait, there's more!
Another turret was guarding the door to the pump switch which it had gotten some nice shots off while Arghrash destroyed it. He didn't waste no time in heading through the door, this leads to another turret doing even more damage to him, he wasn't too thrilled about this.
With this next batch of Mirelurk that have come to play, one had dropped down off the walkway due to the gap and a mine was placed down to kill it, easier after it was weakened first with bullets.
The other two were coming around through the room just back a bit though and this was going to leave less room. "Chuck that mine there are quickly move back and watch this sucker blow up!" Arghrash had taken the opportunity to place a mine a little before the first Mirelurk go close enough and that left the third, one to be burned alive and taking a mass amount of revolver bullets.
This was taking it right out of him to be in such tough fights after being surprised when they are popping out of nowhere, the hunger and thirst had set it as did the fatigue.
As he watched that third Mirelurk from this group collapse into a corpse of flesh and shell, Arghrash sat down on that walkway to drink the last of his purified water and eat some canned food while he had a chance. Once he gets back up it will be flicking the last two pumps on to drain the last of the water and embrace the extra Mirelurk attacks.
