The Phin Filter is a Vietnamese coffee filter press that is perfect for making a delicious cup of coffee. It comes with a filter plate and a brewing chamber with lots of little holes in the bottom. The ratio of coffee to water is one to two, so six tablespoons of coffee is used. The coffee should be ground to a fine grind size and the bloom should be let for 60 seconds before pouring the water to the top. The gravity press should be placed on top of the coffee and the cap should be placed on top to keep the heat inside. The first drip should fall within the first two minutes and the last drip should fall between the five to six minute mark. If the coffee is too strong, more hot water can be added. The coffee can be enjoyed hot or over ice and can be enjoyed with sweetened condensed milk, regular cream and sugar, milk, oat milk, almond milk, or agave syrup.
