In this video review, Patrick Cerne introduces some of the new and hot life jackets from O'Neill. One of the highlights is the Assault jacket featuring NitroLite foam, which is the first new Coast Guard approved foam in 36 years. This jacket is 20% lighter on the rack, 30% more buoyant in the water, and has drain holes to quickly release water weight. It also has two buckles and segmented foam for lumbar support, preventing the vest from expanding too much and becoming uncomfortable. Another standout is the Gooru Tech Comp vest, designed to match the curvature of the spine and provide better impact protection. The vest is made with Techno Butter material, which dries super fast, and it also features a reversible design for added versatility.
