Breville Barista Express

The Breville Barista Express has been in my family's home for the past six months. As a coffee roaster and barista, I have had the opportunity to use many home and commercial espresso machines, and I have been able to give an accurate six month review of the Barista Express.

The machine does feel a bit cheap, with a lot of plastic and low quality parts. The built-in grinder is a game changer, but it does not have the flexibility to go very fine. The water pressure is not consistent, and the steam wand is incredibly slow.

However, the machine is easy to use and well thought out. It includes everything you need to make good espresso, and it is great value for money. It is a good entry-level machine, and it is great for ergonomics and practicality.

Overall, the Breville Barista Express is a good machine for its price point, but if you want to experiment with different types of coffee, it may not be the best option.
