Hello everyone and nice to meet you all !

I am Tanray and this is my very first post on HIVE. I am totally new on both HIVE and DEFI in general. I know a bit about centralized exchanges, but my crypto knowledge doesn't go further than that.

How I found out about HIVE?

So you may wonder, how I ended up here in the first place? Of course it's a friend that introduced me to this ecosystem, and I have to say it still looks to me as something quite complicated. My friend spend hours explaining to me how HIVE works, with the keys, the wallet, the power up, the liquid HIVE and the tokens, the communities, the hastags, formating... 🙃 😩 I wish it will become more user-friendly with experience. Posting however looks quite straightforward. In order to start, I had some founds on binance that I converted to HIVE and sent here, which my friend made me power up.

A bit more about myself

I am 25 and I live in Japan where I work as a system engineer. I recently started kickboxing, and I also do hot yoga since a couple of years. I like wandering in the japanese countryside and take landscape pictures. I am just a beginner, but I plan on buying a new lens soon.

What do I plan to do on HIVE?

To be honest, it's still a bit vague at the time. The possibilities seem endless, so first I will go slowly and learn more about the ecosystem and connect with nice people. I will see where that leads me, and in the meantime I plan on posting pictures about myself in the model-Agency community, traveling pictures and experiences about the japanese countryside on the haveyoubeenhere community and my first steps in photography, or at least my first step in sharing my photographies in the photography community.
