🍋 1 tablespoon lemon juice
🍯 1 teaspoon apple juice
🧂 Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1- Prepare the Panisse Dough:
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant
- In a separate pot, bring water to a simmer
- Gradually whisk in chickpea flour, ensuring no lumps form
2- Cook the Mixture:
- Stir in the sautéed garlic and olive oil
- Season with salt to taste
- Continue stirring until mixture thickens to a porridge-like consistency
3- Set the Panisses:
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish
- Spread evenly and smooth the top
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until set
4- Make the Yogurt Sauce:
- Combine yogurt, lemon juice, and apple juice in a bowl
- Season with salt and pepper
- Mix until well combined
5- Fry the Panisses:
- Slice the set mixture into sticks
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan
- Fry until golden brown on all sides
