Ms. Marvel Trailer is Here

It has been confirmed that the Ms. Marvel show will be the next show to air after Moon Knight. Ms. Marvel will air on June 8 on Disney+ and I am super excited.

If the poster for this show looks familiar, it is because it is a recreation of Ms. Marvel #5.

We knew that her origin story will change as the inhumans don't exist in the MCU and probably never will. Her powers have also changed and they are so much cooler. I love the glowing purple and that they kept her embiggening powers. Yes, because of her powers in the comics embiggen has become an actual word. Her embiggening is also glowing and she seems to have a lot more powers as well, which are super cool.

The most important thing is that Kamala Khan is the same. In the comics she is a superhero fangirl who write fanfiction and is obsessed with Captain Marvel. This show totally seems to capture that vibe. She is living in her superhero dreamland and draws superheroes. It is perfect. She has a Halloween Captain Marvel costume and a better one is her imagination. She seems so likable and relatable. I love it.

This is Iman Vellani first official acting job and I think that she is crushing it. I had my doubts until this trailer, but it looks like she is crushing it as a perfect Kamala Khan.

I also love the different look of the show. I hope that this is not just for the trailer. All the comics' bubbles and the drawings. It looks so cool and different from all of the other shows out there. I love the song choice for the trailer as well.

Kamala Khan will also appear in Captain Marvel 2 and I wonder if this show will lead up to that movie.

I love her character so much that I can't wait to see her on the big screen.
