Ms. Marvel Disney Plus Show has Started Filming

Disney didn't release any announcement or update that Ms. Marvel is going to start filming so soon. I mean all of the other Marvel/Disney Plus TV shows are still in pre-production, the ones that have a showrunner and a lead actor or actresses, anyway, but not much more. We didn’t see any other official casting announcement for Ms. Marvel, but now suddenly we have set photos from filming. So it appears that from the second wave of Marvel/Disney Plus shows Ms. Marvel will probably be the first to air, and probably will set up or be somehow connected to Captain Marvel 2 which is set to come out on July 8, 2020.

Iman Vellani, an unknown actress in her first role, is playing the role of Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel. Khan, is a nerd and a big fan of the Avengers, but mostly of Captain Marvel. We see that clearly in the first set photos. In one of them we can see her on her bicycle wearing a jacket with an air force symbol just like the one that Carol Danvers has when she is in the air force. Plus, she has a Captain Marvel helmet.

In the second photo we can see her actually wearing a Captain Marvel costume. I think it is a Halloween costume. It's pretty cool, but not professional enough to be her first moment of transformation costume. In the same picture we see her with another person. This is probably Matt Lintz who has been cast as Bruno Carrelli from what I understand. Even though he doesn't look like I pictured Bruno, he at least has the lab coat on.

I really hope that Brie Larson herself will cameo on the show. It will be so awesome. It will make it look less TV and more MCU, plus she does meet her in the comics eventually. Although Ms. Marvel will appear in Captain Marvel 2 so they might meet that way.

Ms. Marvel is a hit when it comes to new Marvel characters in my opinion so I am really looking forward to this show. Even though it looks less mature then what I'd hoped it will look like, but I maybe be wrong. It's just images, not a trailer. We don't even have a synopsis yet. I am keeping my expectations high at this point.
