Introducing my bonding loop experiment on Polycub
8 comments
I've been quite obsessed with Polycub over the last few weeks, trying to learn as much as I can about the inner workings. Leofinance just posted about the upcoming bonding protocol where they said:
We're currently doing final testing on the bonding protocol and are hoping to have it released by the end of this week.
I've made some money bonding on other protocols but I ended up doing the most basic mistake around crypto, I didn't cash out. I took my earnings and staked it using the native protocol token. If you're familiar with most DeFi 2.0 projects around you know how that ended up.
I ended up closing all my positions after a while with minor losses, but if I sold right away I would have made quite a nice profit instead of losing a few dollars.
I'm going to do it again but this time on PolyCub. The other platforms like Time Wonderland and Invictus had a major flaw, they weren't sustainable.
I have to admit I'm a little biased when it comes to Polycub but I spent hours learning about how it works and I really think it can prosper in the long run!
The experiment
I'm going to start with 100 USDC and I will bond it to whatever LP contract is offering the biggest discount on Polycub.
I will harvest the vesting Polycub twice, the first time after 3 days and at the end of the 7 days. After the final claim, I will once again look at the bonding page and see what bond I'm going to buy next.
This process will be repeated over and over until I lose 50% of my initial investment or until I get tired of it.
Why I'm doing this:
- Strengthen the Protocol Owned Liquidity.
- Gather data.
- Make interesting content sharing the results of my experiment.
I will track and document every transaction, the total amount I can contribute to the POL just by bonding loop around $100, and how much I'm making or losing over time.
Can't wait to start and share the results with you. Let's make polycub a sustainability beast in the DeFi world.
