Ingredients
🥪 2 slices sourdough bread
🥓 150g pastrami
🧀 2 slices Swiss cheese
🧈 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
🧅 1 red onion
🍅 1 roma tomato
🥫 Mayonnaise
🧅 1 white onion
🌿 Horseradish
🌶️ Chili sauce
🌶️ Frank's RedHot cayenne pepper hot sauce
🌱 Handful of arugula or lettuce leaves (optional)
Instructions
1- Prep Your Ingredients:
- Begin by slicing the red onion and roma tomato. Wash the arugula or lettuce if using.
2- Butter the Bread:
- Spread the unsalted butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
3- Assemble the Sandwich:
- On the unbuttered side of one bread slice, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and a hint of horseradish.
- Add a layer of sliced red onion and tomato over the mayonnaise.
- Layer the pastrami evenly on top, followed by the Swiss cheese.
- Drizzle with chili sauce and Frank's RedHot cayenne pepper hot sauce.
- If you’re using arugula, place it over the cheese.
4- Cook the Sandwich:
