What's the Meaning of Life?
How many of us often ask this question when time gets troublesome? Especially when we feel depressed because of something. We got disappointed, yes, and that’s that time too we asked ourselves is it worth living?
The most terrifying truth is that we are all going to die. That’s why, we couldn’t help ourselves to ask questions because of too many wonders. Why we work so hard, why we chain ourselves to have a good life when we are already aware that there is an ending. Yes, death comes to all of us in a different destiny.
As we witness someone die at an early age we begin to feel anxious. What did that person do? What was his/her lifestyle when he/she was still alive? Then, bad thoughts come to mind and what were the things that might be the cause of death?
Even though we are afraid about the truth. There are things that troubled us more when death comes to senses. What are the things we’ve done upon this time? Can we really tell that we are successful or have we done better in our life? This makes us worried more because we think we haven’t done everything yet. We are not yet satisfied with the things in our life.
Actually, that’s what makes us more afraid of leaving this world. The things we really love that we work so hard to achieve. The status that we are desperate to have and the life we want. These things are the reasons that chain us to feel free. Instead of not pressuring us to do things, we rush it to be able to stand in the center of the crowd.
The meaning of life is not about what you can show to the whole world. Its meaning depends on what you truly desire inside. Yes, it makes us happy to do that but that’s just a fake one because we just only wanted to show off; We just want to prove something even though it’s not necessary. We are too focused on other people’s happiness instead of our own.
If we just worry on our own we can freely think what we really want. Also, it will give us peace of mind because whatever happens, like failing or succeeding. It will be okay because those things are what we truly desire. Through this, despair will never be felt and through this, whenever death comes it is not that scary at all. Why not when we think that we had a great life and ending is always coming.
