Be Smart and Celebrate

Today I had an encounter which I can consider as one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. It all started like a normal day, I had dressed up and drove to my friends house and we had planned to go to one of our friends' birthday parties. During the time when we were considering how our movement will be, I brought the suggestion of going without our girlfriends but my friends considered that going with our girlfriends will make it more fun and lively. At one point I thought of it and it made sense because if one was to go to a party not knowing what to expect seeing, he should at least be prepared. Not when others will be dancing in pairs, one one will be left out standing or looking. Worst of it all , dancing alone pretending to be dancing with the air or an invisible being like Mr Bean loves doing. The imagination was funny to me, so I later gave in.

When we were all set we drove off and carried our girlfriends and then went to the party. In fact from the look of things outside, I was short of words. Our birthday boy had lavished money on decorations. There were many different ladies who were on very short mini skirts and some in gowns that you can easily see through the under.
Different sets of ladies were there but I tried to be careful with my looks to not annoy my partner. Everything was going fine until it was time to dance, the music being played is the type that can make one start moving their body against their will if they had decided not to dance. As I told my partner that I wanted to use the restroom, she held onto my hands feeling maybe I wanted to run because it is time to dance. Just then as we were dancing m, a lady came up the stairs to my view and my jaw dropped. This was the same lady I had avoided many times because of how seriously she had been seeking my attention, even though she was very well aware that I have a partner.

Ever since she had visited me in my working place and we had exchanged contacts, it became clear to me that she was not in for the type of business I had to offer but have other motives because most times when she visits my office, she will want to engage more on personal topics concerning me and sometimes make requests of something on her back that she needs help with and many more tricks.
Her motives was clear to me but what made me distance myself from her was the night I was coming down from my office not expecting to see a single soul in the building because of how late I was going but just as I locked the office door, I saw someone coming up through the dimly light stairs and when she came close enough. I noticed it was her and while she was asking me questions, if I'm okay and why I'm going this late. Her hand came upon me because she was talking and asking questions that kept my mind busy.

It was when her two hands were almost on my chest that I decided to stop her and not give in to her plans. What if it is a set up I thought to myself?. That was the last day I saw her before today at the party. Immediately I told my girlfriend I was going to the restroom and removed her hands to leave before I would be seen. I went to the restroom and entered the males section and closed the door behind me. My heart was beating not like one in danger but I wiped my face with the palm of my hands and while urinating i was thinking of how to avoid her approach or even to speak with her because I know it's almost impossible because she will definitely come. Just as I was still urinating I heard footsteps that sounded like one in heels which seemed to stop halfway, I thought perhaps it was my girlfriend. When I was done, I opened up the door to leave and there she was standing almost in front of the door.

My heart skipped. I almost fainted as though I had seen a ghost. I said “Hi” and was about to make an attempt to move past her. She gradually pushed me back and started saying things about me intentionally trying to avoid her which I denied. She kept talking about dn before I could know it she was already touching the buttons if my vintage shirt, I was trying to make sense of what she was saying but the tiny to and fro shaking of my shirt was giving me small tingling feeling and looking at her eyes and glossy lips made me feel as though I was falling into a trance. She stepped even more closer while still fondling my shirt with her hands as though she wanted to consciously step back to go behind the door. I came to my senses and removed her hands, then moved her aside. I walked out immediately and almost on the way to the main hall, I saw my girlfriend coming up and looking for me. Had it been she had seen me with the woman? Today would have been a big trouble because she wouldn't want to hear any explanations from me as it usually sounds like lies to defend one's actions.

The songs played in the birthday party today were really beautiful. Ladies please it's always good to trust your partner and if there be any awkward situation, please listen to him because sometimes, another girl may be jealous of what you have and may do anything possible to cause troubles and separation so that there will be room enough for her to step in and take your place.
