An evening walk after a weird and hectic day?
Yes, why not, let's go; I can't focus on writing a post anyway.
My mind was in that "weird and hectic" part, but luckily our feet took us to the cobblestoned streets and to the promenade to unfocus the thoughts from there. It also happened as we dropped our son off to music school where they had a rehearsal for a concert. It was planned to last for an hour... and turned out to finish two and a half hours later. But it was good anyway to be outside and just stroll around without a specific destination.
As you see, the evening already started to paint the town with different colours. A darker background was coming to take over the day but sure, some interesting details remained there.
You have a lovely green haircut!
The white house closed her eyes but a light smile was shining from her face. She was glad, I guess.
Do they have emotions - the houses and the plants in front of them...? As this shrub shaped into a caterpillar looked excited and happy. What a cool idea to make such a decoration! :))
The evening fell faster and faster, by the time we walked through the centre and reached the sea, it was already dark. The sculptures had to switch on their lights to be visible. Btw, do you remember this sculpture from one of my posts? If not, then it is perfect 😁 because I wanted to ask you what it reminds you of, or what its name would be.
Art probably allows our imagination to fly to places where different laws rule, and create/observe things from our perspective. You will be surprised when I tell you later the name of this aforementioned artwork. Oh, but what I am saying - maybe you already guessed what it is.
Art also appeared in other spots during our evening walk - like this exposition of paintings of Juan Navarro Ramón. Some of his works were exhibited here, on the promenade of Altea, the town where he was born 120 years ago.
Here, on the beach, I found a cool thing; someone made a black heart from black stones but it was too dark so the photo of it didn't come out well.
I saw this painting while we were still waiting for our son and walking by the shop windows. A lady with blue eyes waiting for her son or someone else, or simply getting lost in the colours of a sunset? The answer can be anything, it depends on our current state of mind.
