In my last post, I told you about the distance traveled by transport to this volunteer site and the mesmerizing views along the way along with my nostalgia. If you're curious, visit my profile to read it.
Our group stopped people at a dead end road when motor vehicles could not go any further because they had gone very deep into the primeval forest. Our group seemed to be tired after the winding mountain road, everyone started to pack up and take the goods we brought to give to the people here. We had the first conversations with the people here, although we only understood each other better through gestures, but I felt the friendliness in their smiles. I took a deep breath, it's really been a long time since I have breathed such a green air, instead of the noisy traffic in the city, here is the sound of rushing water and the sound of the wind charging. Through each leaf, the tree top gives me a strange feeling of peace and tranquility. we have our first photo together here, look at everyone in my group….their clothes, their tired faces after the long journey. Everyone and I looked at each other and laughed, it will definitely be a part of our memories when we get old when we think back, we will still laugh and be happy because our youth had great experiences. so.
After arranging each person's luggage as well as receiving support from the people in the village to bring the gifts to the village, our group began to block the road consisting of 3 hills and 4 streams. The beginning will be a steep slope cutting the mountain to reach the trail up to the village, the slope is almost vertical and can only be walked on thanks to the rocks that fit the foot and the rough old tree turns. those stones. For a person like me who often has physical activities like me who had to gasp when climbing halfway up the slope, it was really a challenge for us, some members of my crew had to hug. into a tree halfway up the slope because it was impossible to continue climbing. The road we took passed halfway through the hills embracing but the watershed river. To our right were ferocious abysses covered with luxuriant and murky low shrubs. To the left of us will be a high mountain slope with an almost vertical section, they are covered with a layer of small and green vegetation, every part of the way we will meet old trees that have fallen across the road, they completely It's naturally made from hurricanes and geological collapses, old trees that are too big for 3 people to hug sometimes I have to climb over it or get through it. I really like this feeling. It's interesting and something makes me want to go deeper into this forest. As I told you we have to go through 3 hills to get to the village and every time we go there the top of the hill, under the late winter early spring weather, the top of the hill is covered with a thick and strange fog. It makes me feel cold and vague about the surrounding scenery, the top of the hill, although the vegetation will be thinner, but it is the place where the tallest old trees reside, they are like the trees. misty sky gate in the middle of thousands of silver mountains.
Everything is so beautiful and wonderful. My post is long, I have a lot of work to do for a new week and I just told you about my past weekend. See you in the village with innocent smiles and happiness. Thank you in so many options have read all of my post once again thank you from the bottom of my heart.
