My recent trip to the Morichal Largo River in Monagas was an unforgettable experience that allowed me to connect with nature and discover the richness of the vegetation, flora and fauna of the region. As I documented in previous posts, of the Beetles, I hope you read it as well as all the ones I will publish about this paradise in the state of Monagas.
I approached the river on a sunny morning, with the expectation of enjoying an exciting adventure, in which I found a lot of wildlife and some things that I never thought to live in this adventure. The access road to the river is rural and primitive, which gave me the feeling of being thousands of miles from civilization. In reality we are very far from the nearest town, the only ones who are here are the tour guides who are ancestral inhabitants of these waters as they are native indigenous Waraos. Arriving at the river, I was surprised by the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings. The water was crystal clear and transparent, and you could see the base of the trees a few meters deep.
I embarked on a tour of the river in a boat, surrounded by the lush vegetation that surrounded me I found these beautiful yellow flowers that were blooming at that very moment. The sound of the birds and the breeze that caressed my skin made me feel that I was in paradise, what impressed me most about this paradisiacal journey was the animals that live here I never thought I would see in my life.
During the tour, I observed a great variety of bird species, some of which were common in the region as well as these nests that I will show you, plus the burrows of wild or bush mice, while others were rare and I had never seen before. I also saw a large number of insects and reptiles that found shelter in plants and tree trunks.
After enjoying a few moments of relaxation in a quiet corner of the river, I decided to sit on the bank and enjoy the scenery. I was surprised by the amount of fallen tree trunks in the river, many of which were crisscrossed and formed a maze of roots and trunks on the sides of the panatano or river flow. It seemed to me as if I was in a lost world only for animals since this area is not populated by humans and those who inhabit it are very few.
That night, I decided to camp by the river and enjoy the tranquility and the beauty of the surroundings. I went to bed under the stars, surrounded by the sound of insects and birds, and fell asleep with the thought of having enjoyed an exciting day, these kinds of adventures are what I like and enjoy to the fullest as usual is a great experience unforgettable really . do not miss anything or anyone in the city for me I can live here quietly .
The next day, I woke up early and began to explore the environment as a good explorer also with the tour guide, I was not alone in this adventure as I am not from the area. I found a lot of fish and other animals that were in the river, and I was surprised by the amount of life that existed in that place. What I loved the most, so many animals and flowers, everything was beautiful except the heat and humidity, but for all that there was the great flow of the river of warm water.
Soon after, I had to return to civilization, but not before having enjoyed an unforgettable experience in the Morichal Largo River. It seemed to me as if I had discovered a new and exciting world, and I feel fortunate to have been able to enjoy it to the fullest. It is a great experience to live it is very strange that for the state of Monagas do not make this type of explorations in groups of tourists and adventurers as it is something extraordinary to live it.
I hope this story has inspired you to get to know the Morichal Largo River and to discover the beautiful views and adventures it offers. It has many secrets that over time I will show you this great adventure. Let's go there and discover the secrets of this magical place! I invite you to continue reading these posts as they are very extensive in terms of what you have experienced in this great place, like the Morichal Largo River.
