My Actifit Report Card: November 15 2024 - A Much-needed Weekend

This week seemed to be an unrelenting loop of eat, sleep, and work.
It began right immediately this morning, when I opened my eyes.
I ran upon some challenges right away.

Particularly if you feel undervalued and unsupported, juggling work, my boys, and housework is not an easy task.
All I want most of the time is curl up on the couch and do nothing.
Now, though, it seems like there is always much to do—at home as much as at my workplaces.

It was depressing to step into my children's dirty room this morning.
It seemed like a personal failing.
How could my kids be so selfish and inconsiderate?
This phase is draining and demoralizing, hence I hope it passes fast.

Your mental health suffers when you are under continual strain and undervaluated.

Fortunately, my day at work was a refreshing contrast.
The smiling smiles, laughter, and happy youngsters raised my spirits.
A fast stroll with the youngest child of the bunch not only helped me meet my step target, but also lifted my spirits.

As I strolled, I enjoyed the gorgeous autumn colors and the cool breeze from the Maas River.
After that, I enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee while listening to the sweet sounds of a baby cooing.

Time flies, and before I knew it, it was dark while I was feeding a little one.
But that means the weekend is about to start!
Celebrating the 55th birthday of my friend tonight excites me.

I must, however, have a crucial talk with my sons before the celebrations start.

Their recent behavior is reprehensible, and it must change.
I hope they understand and cooperate.
I can't handle this much stress, therefore I'm looking forward to a peaceful and revitalizing weekend.
