Never thought there would be A Point when we would be buying money

I mean Who in the World ever thought that Money would ever be Bought for any reason or even at a Price.

Nigeria is my Country and it is where I Proudly Belong. We've gone through series of Hell here and this also was one of them "Buying Money With Money". Never did we think at any Time in our Lives among our Challenges we would ever buy Money just to make use of Money.

This is what some would call "Sadonic" (a local way of saying very sad). At a point Things were going smoothly even though the Naira was loosing its value on a daily basis; Nigerians are still cool with that at least they're still surviving and that wasn't a Big Deal because the government in which we've put our trust have failed us Big time. So Nigerians care less about the Naira problem.

"We must survive" is our Normal Slogan. But then, we never thought our suffering would get to the point where what we're working for we can't even see it at all. The Nigerian Government Decided to Redesign the Naira Note of which the Old one Wasn't as bad either, we never can tell the reason for their actions but then as citizens we had no option than complying to their rule.

While the process was on we heard that all Old Note would seized to be recognized as Currency starting from January last year 2023 and that anyone found with it would have him/herself to be blame. Trust Nigerians and Money! No one wanted to loose, we all packed our Old Money to the Back to be able to get the New Currency but sorry was the case. We were able to deposit our old Money but then the New ones were no where to be found.

While everybody tried to put their Old Currency in the Bank those that were not able to deposit their money in the Bank were redirected to go to The Central Bank Of Nigeria to Officially State their Reasons for Disobedience and also follow the Due process to put theirs as well.

The Big Problem of Buying Money has just begun because now everybody have gone to put their Old Money in the Bank and then the New Money is in Scarcity. And even before you see it you must at least be connected to those people of affluence if not you're only disturbing yourself for nothing.

When an average citizen manages to have access to it they secure it like A Treasure and to every Nigerian then it was More like Gold just seeing it alone. Money has now become one of the Scarce Commodity you can find.

After some period the money went in circulation but before you would have it; it would have to cost you Money to have it. The Local money Dispenser in the Country Called POS(point of sale) made real money then from Nigerians. To get Two thousand Naira(2,000) you have to pay Eight hundred naira (800) in some places while some to get Ten thousand Naira (10,000) you have to pay four thousand Naira (4,000) just to have money you can use to run your Errands on a daily basis.

Business men couldn't make sales because some of them were not having Bank accounts and even some that have don't know how to use Internet Banking.

Seriously! This was the time you see those forming big boys in town don't even know how it works even. Lol.

It was an interesting moment filled with sadness and fun... It thought those that don't know how to make Internet Banking and it even made those that don't have Bank Accounts to open one and this made buying easy for me too even though we have money now in circulation, usually personally I do not like using money I love the Internet transaction because it works better for me and I feel safe moving around town.

You can be surprised that even the tomatoes seller in the Market now has an account and she receives transfer not withstanding your bank. I'm Happy We Passed through that Phase and Internet Banking has come to stay.
