Hello hello beautiful people of hive, I stop by here once again to share my weekend with you, this was quite interesting, since I visited several places on Margarita Island Venezuela and visited others that are in my childhood memory.
I am a fairly adventurous person, I like to explore the world, and getting to know my entire country is on that list of things to do before leaving.
Nothing more incredible than knowing the history of each place, and experiencing it walking its streets.
The first place I visited on my weekend was the Basilica Menor Nuestra Seรฑora Del Valle, home of the patron saint of the seas. Where you can find many artisans that will make your trip more enjoyable.
One of the things I like most about this place is the delicious climate, this is because it is surrounded by vegetation.
After I went to the San Carlos castle located in Pampatar Bay, a fortification created to protect the coasts from pirates and looters, was demolished many times and rebuilt. Several of the original forts are currently preserved.
The next stop was the Caranta fort, a place that, despite being in ruins, has the best view of the bay.
And finally, the Punta Ballena lighthouse or Pampatar lighthouse, where I had to climb 143 steps to enjoy the landscape, from here you can appreciate the Pampatar salt flats and the sea in its greatest immensity. I got a little dizzy going up, the view is worth it.
There is a lot to know about my Island, my country and the world and I hope I have enough life to do it.
That's it for my post today, blessings and see you next weekend ๐
