And, probably, that is why their approach to determining the duration of the life of the Earth was no different from the knowledge of the secrets of the birth and death of a person, which represented a certain cycle. Moreover, the real problem for them was the death of civilization, and not the death of an individual - it was not considered final until the cycle of reincarnations was interrupted.
The life of mankind after the first round of world evolution was carried away by water, and the symbolism of the World Flood is described both in the Holy Scriptures and in the ancient myths of different peoples - which are examples of the genre of artistic esotericism.
