News and Opinion: December 29, 2022. Fiji and Tonga Considering Making Bitcoin Legal Tender

The Pacific Island countries of Fiji and Tonga are considering making bitcoin legal tender. If this 2 countries move forward with legislation regarding the topic, they will follow El Salvador, which already did it in 2021.

Small countries may be the ones able to take the lead, slowly, bigger countries may follow until a critical mass is achieved. Hopefully, this happens before CBDC's.
