Celebrating children's day in advance

Here in Argentina, Children's Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of August, but since I became a mom, any celebration except Christmas and New Year's Day, we celebrate it before. And this year has been no exception. Since I have to work and any place we can go out for a while on those days is always crowded, the three of us decided to go after school to enjoy it in advance.

So on Saturday (yesterday) after leaving work, we went to Lanús (province of Buenos Aires) to buy her presents, and walk around for a while..

Fabrizzio, the youngest, wanted a remote control car. He had been asking for it for weeks and the wait was endless.

Abraham, (14 years old) thinks he is no longer a child, so he didn't ask for anything, but I know what his tastes are and on the way I made us take a detour to a manga and souvenir store, where he can spend hours looking through all the merchandise.

There we got two volumes of the manga he is reading in physical format, since he uses webtoon on his cell phone to read comics most of the time.

Once the gifts were bought, we had a lunch at a fast food place, where we always go, but for ice cream, and this time we ordered hamburgers, fries and sodas. And although I am on a diet, for that meal I gave myself permission to go off the diet.
